puntCAT also offers its users the latest technical advances to provide the highest possible specifications. We were pioneers in introducing IDN (domain names using accents and non-English letters, such as "ç" or "l·l"), enabling companies to register domain names with accents and at the same time providing them with the corresponding domain name without IDN characters for free (e.g. fundació.cat i fundacio.cat). Similarly, puntCAT is one of the pioneering registers throughout the world in introducing EPP protocol, which accelerates and facilitates the registration process, and IPv6 protocol, which provides users of .cat domains with higher speed and new benefits.
